Donut

This is a great piece. I really like how it's come out.

The colours are natural, almost pastle shades for this tasty looking icing and dough. I'm impressed by the shading and blending of colours ad can't find fault inthem at all.

The background is great, kitchy and yet stylish. the blue shading is excelent and the other dough shapes are well intergrated into the piece.

I'm impressed a great deal by the lighting. its fantastic, containing dappled shine with adequately deep shadows which give the items a size a present context to anyone who has seen pastries in a shop. exelent work shading the sprinkles.

The impact is good, making me hungry, even though part of me is disgusted by the idea of shrimp flavoured dough nuts. Thats notan association likly to happen with all viewers. Im impressed that the majority of the shape is natural, but think the middle or hole of the naught is left a little abigiuos. Its the one and only part if the piece that looks flat and it may be because it mixes pattern with shape and isnt decisive either way.

over all, a drool worthy picture.
